Stage components

Designing a stage with sections Try the stage components from the category near the bottom of the list. Click different stage sections together to build a larger structure.
All the pop up display and banner display items will step up onto the new raised level. It’s great for visualizing events with a staged area and getting a feel for the space available, there’s even a pre-made set of steps you can snap in. Check out the counters and podiums for adding, and also let us know if you need other common items.- we read every bit of feedback that comes in and it really helps us to prioritise the tasks that matter most to you.

We hope this helps you to plan your next event or exhibition (and impress your clients.) – Happy designing!

Event organisers and event organizers

Babycad is great for quickly sketching your event design ideas, big or small. This is a Catwalk event show I designed using Babycad. It was very quick and simple to do thanks entirely to the combination of 4 Babycad tools:

  • Combo products (such as the 3x queuing banner)
  • Clone tool
  • Snapping
  • Multi-select

To block out the seating:

  1. Add the ‘stackable conference seating (3 rows of 6 )’
  2. clone it
  3. Snap the original and the clone together
  4. Hold your ctrl key or command key and select the original and the clone
  5. Rinse and repeat

I separated the dining tables from the main seating with the same method, using a row of ’3x queuing banner”s.

Another quick tip for blocking in a colour theme: use the cutting tool => background colour picker to quickly change the colours of things. I used it almost exclusively.
